The Adamaoua region, due to its intermediate position between the forest zone and the savanna zone, benefits from a particular environment. However, the region "water tower of Cameroon" does not escape the harmful effects of major upheavals and human activities. Therefore, it is important to follow the evolution of environmental parameters. It is in this perspective that the realization of the environmental map has been included in the 2017 Annual Work Plan (PTA) of the Regional Delegation for the Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development (DREPDED).
